Indiana State Fairgrounds announces Corteva Coliseum

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center announced a new naming rights partnership for its iconic coliseum — now called the Corteva Coliseum.

Corteva Agriscience is a global leader in innovation and technology solutions.

“Ushering in this new era for our beloved coliseum with our long-term partners at Corteva Agriscience is beyond exciting,” said Cindy Hoye, Indiana State Fair Commission executive director.

“We are so grateful for their commitment to our state, our fairgrounds and our community. Together, we will continue to create memories and traditions for generations to come.”

The Corteva Coliseum is a multipurpose sports and entertainment facility, home to more than 150 events each year.

It was built in 1939 as the Livestock Pavilion. It has hosted thousands of events, including national livestock shows and the only Indiana performance of the Beatles in 1964.

The Corteva Coliseum underwent a $53 million renovation in 2012 to modernize the venue.

Chuck Magro, CEO of Corteva, looks forward to the partnership at the Indiana State Fair.
