Ways to save money at the Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS — Fairgoers can save money at the Indiana State Fair with advance discounts, theme days, family packages and daily deals.

“One of our goals is to make the Indiana State Fair an experience every Hoosier family can enjoy,” said LeRoy Lewis III, state fair spokesperson.

Save In Advance

Guests who purchase before Aug. 6 at 11:59 p.m. can save on several fair favorites.

• Save 20% on advance admission tickets.

• Save 20% on advance parking passes.

• Save 30% with the Family Four Pack, which includes four admission tickets and one parking pass.

• Save 30% with the Foodie Family Four Pack, which includes four admission tickets, one parking pass and $50 in Fair Bucks that can be used at participating food and beverage vendors throughout the fair, excluding the midway.

Discount Days

• $2 Tuesdays presented by the Indiana secretary of state on Aug. 11 and 18 feature $2 admission, $2 midway rides and $2 food specials at every concession stand.

• Military and First Responders Day on Aug. 12 offers free admission for military personnel, veterans, first responders and their immediate family members with valid identification.

• Indianapolis Indians’ Family Day on Aug. 13 offers discounted admission with a printed or digital voucher found at IndyIndians.com/StateFairFamilyDay.

• IndyStar Free Ticket Day on Aug. 19 allows guests to receive free admission with a voucher published in the IndyStar on Monday, Aug. 17.

• AAA Day on Aug. 20 provides complimentary admission for AAA members with a valid membership card, hard copy or digital.
