World Dairy Expo announces 2025 associate judges

MADISON, Wis. — World Dairy Expo announced the eight individuals selected to serve as associate judges of the expo’s 2025 Dairy Cattle Show.

Nominated by the official judge and approved by a committee of expo exhibitors, these individuals bring a global perspective to this world-renowned event, scheduled to take place Sept. 28-Oct. 3.

The complete slate of individuals who will serve as judges at World Dairy Expo 2025 are:

International Ayrshire Show

• Official: Gregory Evans, Georgetown, New York.

• Associate: Jean-Philippe Charest, Saint-Alexandre, Quebec, Canada.

International Brown Swiss Show

• Official: Allyn “Spud” Paulson, Rockford, Illinois.

• Associate: Brian Olbrich, Harvard, Illinois.

International Guernsey Show

• Official: Mark Rueth, Oxford, Wisconsin.

• Associate: Tina Vilter McDonald, Signal Mountain, Tennessee.

International Holstein Show

• Official: Aaron Eaton, Marietta, New York.

• Associate: Pat Lundy, Granville, New York.

International Junior Holstein Show

• Official: Pierre Boulet, Montmagny, Quebec, Canada.

• Associate: Richard Landry, Sainte-Brigitte-des-Saults, Quebec, Canada.

International Jersey Show

• Official: Kelly Barbee, Concord, North Carolina.

• Associate: Jon Kingdon, Warwick Township, Ontario, Canada.

International Milking Shorthorn Show

• Official: Mike Maier, Stitzer, Wisconsin.

• Associate: Josh Fairbanks, Anamosa, Iowa.

International Red & White Show

• Official: Adam Hodgins, Kincardine, Ontario, Canada.

• Associate: Joel Phoenix, Cannington, Ontario, Canada.

Serving as the meeting place of the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo is the forum for the global dairy community to learn, share, create commerce and showcase competition.

The annual event will return to Madison, where dairy producers can experience a dairy-focused trade show, a world-class dairy cattle show, attend seminars, meetings and presentations highlighting the latest in the industry and connect with other producers.
