GSI introduces new Mixed Flow dryers for the 2025 harvest season

In a Mixed Flow dryer, the grain column is continually mixed as it passes over alternating rows of heat ducts, which allows for slower, gentler drying.

ASSUMPTION, Ill. — GSI is introducing a new lineup of Mixed Flow dryers for the 2025 harvest season, designed to promote greater efficiency and maximize grain quality.

“Our new Mixed Flow dryers enable farmers to reduce downtime and maintain capacity with no screens to clean during the busy harvest season,” said Alan Lockwood, GSI conditioning product manager. “They can also dry multiple crops without changeover or loss of capacity.”

Other features include:

• A modular design that can grow with a farm operation.

• Lower airflow rates that maximize grain quality and improve fuel efficiency.

• Independently controlled modules that allow for multi-zone temperature, as well as the ability to run full heat or dry/cool modes.

• Can be loaded with either a leveling auger or a gravity fill box and unloaded with dual 7-inch meter rolls that supply grain to a single-drag discharge conveyor.

Lockwood added that the new dryers utilize centrifugal fans for high-efficiency drying, and they’re available in common fuel and electrical configurations.
