It’s been a few years since I’ve attended one of my favorite events — the Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry.
At first it was because I was at the hospital welcoming my babies into the world. But this year it is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a graduate of Purdue’s Agricultural Communication’s program, I will always be “ever grateful” to the college that prepared me for my dream job.
I had an amazing college experience that launched me straight to AgriNews, which is exactly where I dreamed I’d land.
I miss hearing “Hail Purdue” and seeing the Boilermaker Express at the Fish Fry. I miss the food, the laughs and mostly the people. But I am glad everyone is safe at home.
I can’t wait to reunite with everyone next year.
Boiler up!
