As part of the celebration of the 90th year of the Streator FFA Chapter, chapter members are working on a Cake in a Pan project that will be shared with the Streator community.

The work that Lance Moritz has invested in his family farm has resulted in national recognition as a finalist for the American Star in Agricultural Placement achievement award.

The La Salle County Soil and Water Conservation District announced the Isermann family of Streator is the 2022 Farm Family of the Year.

Truck and road equipment supplier Bonnell Industries of Dixon announced it is acquiring the assets of a competitor, Flink Co. of Streator. “Really, I think the products are all similar with both companies,” said Bill Hintzsche, chief operating officer of Bonnell.

The welcome mat that his fellow faculty rolled out for him is the same one that Riley Hintzsche has ready for his students in the Streator High School ag program.
