More than 70 jobs coming to Indiana Bunge location

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place last summer at the Bunge location in Morristown, Indiana.

MORRISTOWN, Ind. — Bunge announced more than 70 new career opportunities at its plant in Morristown over the course of the year.

The job openings include:

• Packaging

• Warehouse operators

• Hourly production

• Maintenance mechanics

• Engineers

• Quality food safety experts

• Material handling

The plant is expanding the construction of a $550 million fully-integrated soy protein concentrate and textured soy protein concentrate facility.

It’s the company’s largest hiring initiative in the region to date.

“Bunge has been an anchor in the Morristown community for 25-plus years and we are expanding our operations to continue to meet the growing demand for our products.

Starting wages for qualified applicants are $28-plus per hour. A benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life and more.

The company offers vacation, sick and holiday pay starting immediately, as well as a 401(k) plan with a company contribution and a company match.
