Beck’s breaks ground on new soybean processing facility

NEW MADRID, Mo. — Beck’s broke ground on a new soybean processing facility near New Madrid in southeastern Missouri as part of its expansion into the Mid-South.

The 60,000-square-foot facility will span 105.5 acres and process 3 million units of soybeans annually, offering expanded market opportunities and creating 17 new jobs in its first year. It will also feature additional warehouse space and seed storage.

The first part of this high-efficiency facility will be completed by this December, with full operations set for fall 2026.

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is backing the project, calling it a “significant investment.”

“We’re proud to welcome Beck’s to the Show-Me State as it announces this exciting new facility in New Madrid,” the governor said.

“As a business owner and third-generation farmer, I’m thrilled to see an agricultural leader like Beck’s making such a significant investment in our state. This company’s presence in New Madrid will support the area’s economy, benefit local farmers and further strengthen Missouri agriculture as a whole.”

Beck’s partnered with Missouri Partnership, the city of New Madrid, New Madrid County Commission, Liberty Utilities, the Missouri Department of Economic Development and the state of Missouri to bring the new facility to New Madrid.
