INDIANAPOLIS — Champions were crowned at the Indiana State Fair Supreme Drive Aug. 10 in Corteva Coliseum.
4-H members proudly show their livestock at this annual event hosted by Indiana Farm Bureau, recognizing Indiana’s supreme 4-H dairy cattle, Boer goats, breeding ewes and breeding gilts.
Farm Bureau also sponsored the 4-H Supreme Showmanship competitions, celebrating the representatives of swine, beef, sheep and goats, on Aug. 17.
Supreme Champions:
• Supreme Champion Gilt — Colt McComb, Noble County.
• Supreme Champion Ewe — Jacob Thompson, Boone County.
• Supreme Champion Percentage Doe — Ethan Dowell, Benton County.
• Supreme Champion Full Blood Doe — Tegan Walker, Clinton County.
• Supreme Champion Dairy Heifer — Breanne Freeman, St. Joseph County.
• Supreme Champion Dairy Cow — Ellie Bollenbacher, Marshall County.
Reserve Supreme Champions:
• Reserve Champion Gilt — Hayden Everhart, Madison County.
• Reserve Champion Ewe — Jude Parker, Shelby County.
• Reserve Champion Percentage Doe — Colton Dahnke, White County.
• Reserve Champion Full Blood Doe — Maggie Cline, Tipton County.
• Reserve Champion Dairy Heifer — Kley Beer, Adams County.
• Reserve Champion Dairy Cow — Taylor Stone, Kosciusko County.
The Supreme Drive winners will be recognized at the Celebration of Champions in September.
